Surf Expedition was a great experience. If you really want to improve your surfing this is the trip for you. With two lessons a day, surf theory, video analysis, and great instructors the waves are gentle and long so you really have time to improve. The food was amazing, property was beautiful, and the boat day and waterfall hike were definitely a highlight.

The owner is a true surf enthusiast, and it shows. He gives really good, practical advice that actually helps you improve, and the video sessions are a game changer — seeing yourself on screen makes it so much easier to understand and correct the bad habits you didn't even know you had. He's also very easy to talk to, which makes the whole experience relaxed and welcoming. And the food is excellent!!! Highly recommended if you want to progress and enjoy Costa Rica at the same time.

Great camp, small family run business by owners that care truly about your experience. This is not an industrial camp that processes thousands a year. Surf location is premium, beautiful beach and jungle. Two surfs a day. We were lucky we got the first swell of the season, it was pumping! Did the non-lesson package and learnt a lot during the surf theory and generally from Sebastien. If you want quality, peace and great waves this is the place for you. The food is incredible as others have commented. Will be back.

Absolutely amazing. The owners are wonderful hosts who made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. The camp offers incredible value, with daily yoga, comfortable accommodations, outstanding surf instruction, and exceptional food! If you're looking for a surf retreat that combines adventure, relaxation, and genuine hospitality, this is the place. I can't recommend it highly enough.

My wife and I just got back from Surf Expedition and it's safe to say this experience exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we walked onto the grounds of Sebastian's property I knew we had struck gold. The property was gorgeous, the staff was incredibly nice, the food was out of this world and the surf instructors were amazing! My favorite part was how meticulously thought out everything was — Sebastian laid out a schedule each night and tailored the day based on when the waves were best. Whether you want to learn to surf or take your surfing to the next level, this is the place to go. Two surf sessions a day, surf theory and footage review at night. This man cares about surfing and his passion is infectious. An unexpected highlight were the amazing people we met along the way, from all over the world. This is one of those trips where you grow physically, emotionally and spiritually. I truly can't recommend this place enough. 5 stars through and through!
